Regarding UC statement essay structures

<p>Is there any documentation on admission's expectations regarding how the essays should be structured? I'm looking at the first transfer prompt(interest in your major). Doesn't it seem more natural to just answer the questions with proper transitioning and thought separation than just cramming an awkward thesis that doesn't really encompass the entire question and then "proving" it? I ask this only because the few examples I've seen posted tend to have a structure similar to a literary analysis paper...</p>

<p>Just curious what other's thoughts are on this.</p>
