Regent over night program

Has anyone signed up for the Regent over night program on April 17 and 18? I signed up a week ago (after my interview), and faxed over the liability form. I got a email confirmation after I signed up online (but before I sent my form over), prompting me to fax the liability form. I didn't get anything else since. I thought we were supposed to get an official confirmation after they got our liability form? What give? I emailed them about it, and they still haven't response.

Exact same story with me.

how do we sign up online? i just thought we were supposed to fax in the waiver and then they were supposed to confirm or something…

You can find the link on the website they gave you on the letter…

has anyone gotten the final confirmation? I don’t know whether I should book the plane ticket or not.

Yeah I just found it hahaha for some reason I couldn’t find it before

hey guys, i went to a session a few weeks ago (even though im from S Cal) and i had the same problem. i kept waiting for that final confirmation mail and it never came. the email that you get immediately after you sign up online IS the final confirmation email (i even called them so im sure this is the case). so once you have signed up, just go ahead and get your ticket as they wont contact you ever again. now it is also true that they never got my liability form because it was faxed, and that might explain why i never got a 2nd email. whatever the case, bring the liability form signed with you just in case. otherwise, everything went fine for me.

Who do you call for the overnight program? everywhere i looked prompted me to email them instead (i can’t even find a phone number, other than the fax number). I really want to make sure before i make any stupid decision.

btw, does regent decision release with the admission decision? I think that’s what the ppl at the interview said, but brochure indicates that the release date is somewhere in mid-April…

SunPenguin, you will be fine. the whole thing is quite informal as students run the whole thing, so even if they mess up, they can just add you on when you get there as long as you have your waiver. if you really want to call though, you can call 510 642-6363 (Financial Aid and Scholarships Office). don’t expect too much from the call.

i would trust the people at the interview more than a piece of paper.

You will indeed find out your scholarship decision when you get your admissions decision.

Don’t worry too much about ROHP, the committee does lose things sometimes, but you can get added there, provided there is someone to sign the waiver (as in, your parents if you are not old enough).

Hope to see you all there!
