Regents Interview! Before I panic...

My interview is in LA in two days...
What should I wear?
What should I take with me?
What should I expect when I get there?
How should I conduct myself?

Help greatly appreciated...

So I guess what most people will say “business casual” and I always wonder what the hell that means in different situations, so I’ll tell you what I wore (i’m a male): Dress pants, some colored polo shirt, belt, dress shoes. Just make sure that if you look “decent” (e.g. I had to get a haircut and shave…)

I think I took a resume with me, but not a letter of rec (I may be mixing memories of other interviews)

I went to the LA one too, so if you do not live in LA and are not used to LA traffic, make sure you plan accordingly; If you arrive earlier than scheduled, all that will happen is you will sit with current scholarship winner students and eat cake and drink coffee.

And conduct yourself… I don’t know, I mean, its an interview, shake the persons hand and talk to them. To be honest, I really have no clue how much this affects anything, I totally screwed up my interview (like, the conversation was not very good at all, and had really awkward moments) and and seriously thought that there was no way in hell I could get, but, turns out I got it - was a pleasant suprise. Until I realized that the award money for my family was only like, 2,500 $. Anyways, I ramble, just take the interview easy, I think that more than anything, they are trying to ring in potential Stanford and Ivy acceptees. Good Luck.

Thank you very much for your response. Do you think a suit would be overdressing?

Better over than under haha
