<p>I’m actually a current Regents Scholar. They sent out an email asking for people to volunteer to host for the overnight stay program so I looked at that for the dates.</p>
<p>for those of you that got the scholarship, what were your EC’s, GPA, essay topic? Who did your letter of recommendation?</p>

<p>@loui86dz - you can probably just check our histories. a lot of us posted information in the past…but for me: mock trial, newspaper, community service, 4.something, 2400/2370, letters from english and math…but i am <em>certain</em> everyone that gets to be regents got there through all sorts of crazy paths! mine is just one example, i guess?</p>

<p>I’m pretty sure this is based on a holistic evaluation of the applicant as my SAT/GPA are lower than many other applicants I know that did not receive the invitation. I also know people who were invited and applied but did not receive the scholarship.</p>
<p>No, I mean who received invitations to the overnight stay program? Was it only those who actually received the Regents Scholarships? The 1.5% of the applicant pool who were invited to apply for the Regents Scholarships? Or an even broader audience?</p>
<p>winslowbake, yes, only prospective Regent Scholars got the invitation to OSP.</p>

<p>yay i got regents too for UCLA! =D i’ve gotten the brochure for the OSP and i really want to do it. Is anyone else here doing it (and on what dates) ? Also, is there a fee like there is for the Berkeley OSP?</p>
