Did anyone get one ?

yea, but I didn’t really read via all of it

by e mail ? when did you receive it ?

from what I remember around the beginning of the quarter–possibly 3rd week?

UC San Diego sends Regents with admission decisions . They start calling Regents Scholars at the end of first week of March.

@seemas, so the end of this week is Mar 1 or end of next week Mar. 8 ?

Last year UCSD started calling Regents starting March 9th.

Thanks for your info.

S got his call yesterday. Asked to come down weekend of April 6th.

same. admitted w/regents scholarship!

Were you specifically told that you were a Regents scholar?

Same question as etg2013. I got a call today saying that i was admitted and an invitation for the jacobs school of engineering overnight stay on April 6th but they didn’t explicitly tell me I got the Regents Scholarship. I am not an under-represented minority (URM).

^Mhm. I also was invited to the overnight stay for poli sci but there was no direct mention of the Regents scholarship or any scholarship for that matter. I am a URM

Do they call everyone that got it?

Dillpickle - My son received a phone call last night. I believe they were calling all of the Regent scholar recipients. They said that regular decisions will be available tomorrow online.

I got the phone call on the 14th saying I’m in with regents.

Yaaaay got Regents! :D

The only way to check if you got Regents is by clicking ‘My Financial Aid Estimate’ on the Admission Status page, right?
Because on the first page where it says “On behalf of the faculty, staff and students of the University of California, San Diego – congratulations on your admission to X College as a major in X! Your admission offer begins with the Fall 2013 term” it doesn’t say that I got Regents. So I thought I didn’t get it and was clicking around feeling a bit disappointed until I got to the FA page and it said I got the scholarship!

But for Davis, SB and Irvine, the Regents notification is way more prominent; like for Davis, they tell you in the email in huge words Congrats on getting Regents! Is it not such a big deal for San Diego?

Thanks archaic for mentioning that! I just assumed my son did not get Regents since it was not in the letter (like UCI) but when I went to the “My Financial Aid Estimate” page it was there!
