Anyone wanna post their regents scores for this june?

i hope you realize only nyc students are required to take those bs exams

Yea I do. There's been threads for almost all the regents so I'm just saying. Do they impact college decsiions at all>

i don't have a clear answer but it's highly doubtful. the point of the exams is to get the student to simply pass them. they're not meant to be evaluated. some of mine i took within 30 min because i knew i had already aced the multiple choice section which is typically enough to get you to pass (for a few). but yeah..don't sweat it...i know people who've had grades in the 60s and 70s range and ended up at ivys and the likes. you shouldn't fail any one of the exams though.

My scores are as follows

Earth Science-80 (eight grade so thats explained)
Math A-100
Biology-97
Math B-80 (i had family problems, will be explained in rec)
Global History-96
Chemistry-93
English-88

Will I still be able to get into Princeton?

Earth Science-92
Global History-96
Biology-92
Math A-98
Math B-94
Chemistry-78 winces....I really think that I messed up the scantron because I did not think it was THAT hard, and when I tried to see what I might have gotten using a test online, I came up with an 84.
English- 100
French- 100
U.S. History- (95-100)

I have never encountered a single college outside of New York State that cared at all about the scores received on Regents exams. What they cared about was the final grade. For that matter I have never heard of any college admissions offices inside New York State caring about Regents exam scores except for the SUNYs (and CUNYs?). If I am wrong I'd be very interested in hearing of any experiences to the contrary.

well ive only taken 3 soo far

biology 84
earth science 89
math a 95

Earth Science- 83

Global History- 96
Chemistry-99
Math B- 98
English- 100
Italian- 100
US History- 97
Physics- 94

yeah in fact i'm in the cuny honors college and my regents scores were way below what some of you are listing. obviously, standardized test scores are more important. and collegehopeful78, what do you think? someone thinking of princeton should really be able to figure this out on her own. to explain a low regents grade would just be silly imho.

Earth Science - 95
Biology - 95
Math A - 98
Global - 98
Math B - 93
Chemistry - 92
English - 93
Spanish - 96 (I think it was a regents)
US History - 98
Physics - 97

Biggyboy, it's not only city kids that take them, everyone in NY, from Buffalo to Montauk, takes them.

Earth Science - 97
Living Environment - 87 (8th)
Math A - 90
Math B - 95
Chem - 100
Spanish - 100
Global - 96
English - teacher told me that it was either a 99 or 100
US History - pending, but I'm pretty sure I got near 100

I got my US History one--97

So they don't matter right?

getting them soon for this june but

Living Environment-96
Math A-100

to the poster who said that they hadn't heard of them counting-I went to a barnard day and they had like 6 really good schools and they were all like-they really count. Especially if you don't take all APs-they show the strength of your hs curriculum. They said Math B and Chemistry were especially important

aww i actually got a 99 on my earth sci and now they don't matter -.-

^^even if you were to major in English or History? I doubt they'd put much emphasis on statewide tests, much less those that have no relation to your intended field of study.....if you were a math or science related major, that might make more sense.

Math A 100
Math B 97
Bio 92
Chem (dont know yet)
Global 99
Spanish 98
Earth Science 89

What if your Regents score is way higher than your grade for the class? Does that show a stronger curriculem(which I probably spelled wrong) or just laziness all year?

i had a 94 in the last semester of the math b curriculum and scored a 79 on the regents (not because it was hard, but because i didn't really care). i don't think its a big deal.
