<p>Yeah generally, I think a bunch of (though not all) the Regents will be the high scorers who complain that with a perfect GPA and 2300+ SAT, they got rejected. I think the award makes some of them feel fuzzy at heart, and they end up going to the given school.</p>

<p>only regents scholar that i know the SAT score for was 2250... 10 points higher than mine, and i'm not regents lol.</p>

<p>I'm one, and my SAT score was only ten points higher than yours. Don't worry. They take much more in to account because they make you write two short essays and get a letter of recommendation if they choose you to apply to be one.</p>
