Where can I find who is the admissions officer in charge of my region (and thus is going to be reading my application)? I've looked over their website but couldn't find anything.

BTW I live in Ohio.

E-mail the admissions office at: uaoffice@princeton.edu. They'll be happy to give you that information.

Actually, I have a question about the regional admissions officer. I was told by many colleges when I visited them this summer that it'd be a good idea to email my regional officer.

I'd like to do this, but I have no idea what I should say. Just that I'm interested? Should I talk about myself? Should I just say "Hi"?

Specifically regarding Princeton... when I was at the info session earlier this summer, the admissions rep that I asked about this told me that they didn't split up by regions and the admissions officer for each geographic part changed. Is this true? Shoudl I still ask for the regional rep?

I'm sorry for hijacking your thread, mwnivek.

ditto on tablurasa's question

bump 10char

When a rep gives an info session in your area, go and introduce yourself and ask for his/her email address. Decisions are not made by individual geographic reps, but it doesn't hurt to make the connection and the one we went to hear speak invited it.

whenever i have a question i email my regional admissions officer. i can't really envision emailing them just to chat, for no reason at all...just ask them any question

by the way, i emailed my regional admissions officer for one school (Yale) and she never responded to my email (this was a month and a half ago)...I emailed the admissions office of another school at the same time and they responded in a week...so if you're looking for a quick response then maybe you should try emailing both the admissions office and your regional officer
