Regional finalist for Stanford EA

<p>I am a Siemens regional finalist applying EA to Stanford.
I have a reasonably good background.
Do you think my applictaion will get a boost because of this award?</p>

<p>Just not sure how much is enough these days to get in. Stanford is my first choice. So I would apply any way.</p>

<p>It will get a bit of a boost, of course, but other awards would do the same. It really depends on how you show it in your application, how important it is to you, etc. It by no means is a ticket to Stanford (almost nothing really is).</p>
