Please tell me you just found a list on Blue Marble or something and didnt create this by hand… if so, holy wow, you do a lot of work! lol

I’m pretty sure he/she got this from Blue Marble; I don’t see how he/she could’ve acquired such a list otherwise…

Blue Marble?

It’s this thing on the admitted students website that let’s you see which areas that other admits come from.

For just Yale, or others too?

Are we talking about admitted students or matriculated students? I guess I could do the math but I’m feeling lazy.

Idaho is awesome. Look at those numbers, finally movin up in the world ;)

[Classified information - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia](Classified information - Wikipedia) ??

HAHAHAH 081392

There were 18 from Toronto alone, and 30 from Canada… Sorry, I think the Idahores lose :P

And JLSParent, if this were classified information, it would not be easily accessible to all admitted students.

These are the numbers for admitted students.

Does anybody have the numbers for matriculates?

Woohoo for being an underrepresented state. With only 3 kids from my whole state at Yale, I sure hope getting in will be a bit easier for me.

Re post 13: Admissions hasn’t released those numbers yet.

But your also competing for a total of 3 spots, it’s a double-edged sword.

^ The number of kids they take per state varies from year to year. They could very well take none from a given state, or they could take twice as many as they took this year (in the case of the smaller states… they can’t afford to take twice as many from like NY or CA).

^ I used 3 as an arbitrary number to aid me in driving my point across.

^ Well either way, no one would ever be “competing” for 3 spots. They’ll take as many as they want from a given state. If they took 3, it’s because they wanted 3.

Link ?

om me if you can with where/how re BM
thanks
