Regis, I would like to poll the audience

I am freaking out and I need your help.

I have already sent in my application 2 weeks ago (exactly on 10/18), and I still have not received any confirmation email. I never even received a notice that a FILE had been created for me.

should I...

a) Call/email the Princeton Admission Office and ask what's up? (i already emailed them a bunch of times, and I don't want to gain a rep as a pest)

b) Resend another copy of the application (it may be too late, but I heard its actually ok to be a couple days off the deadline)

c) Not do anything and hope that they got it.

d) ask my Guidance Counselor to find out what I should do.

e) panic

ahhhh hmm... i think my first choice would be to call the admission office SOON so maybe they can tell you for sure if they got the app or not.... but i dont really know... good luck

Personally, I would give it another week or so if you are that worried. Princeton is probably getting a lot of early applications this year, and it probably takes a while to organize all of the files. If you sent it, it must be there somewhere.

i agree with thefishofsorts...wait one more week, and if there's still no reply, then call the admissions office...i got an email saying they created a file for me exactly one day after i submitted my application, so you should definitely look into it

haha ok listen to them. it just seemed weird to me because i got 3 confirmation type emails really soon- 2 right after i sent it (about receiving it, paying), 1 the next day about creating a file. but those 2 are probably right

remember, if you submitted the application on PAPER it's going to take them longer to process it. I called admissions about this same thing and they told me to call back on Friday (11/3), and I sent mine about a week and a half ago as well.

I sent mine on paper yesterday, so I'm not expecting them to get in contact with me for a while. Hopefully they get it though!

my choice is C. if u have mailed it, it might take time. They have to open the mails from so many applicants as well as teachers and guidance councellors. so, it might take time.
But, there may be risk so, i recommend B. why should you not be on the safe side?
By the way, why did u mail it. Online form is safer and free.

I say (e), freak out...just kidding...the other people have given you good advice.

anyone else mail it?

around how long did it take for any confirmation email to come?

yahoo!!! 800 on 2c lol
