Registration before check-in?

I'm assigned to the 2-5 PM slot which sucks. I don't want to move in then have to register, i want to spend that time meeting my floormates. Can you register before you check in? If you can, where do you park?? please help.

Yes, you can register before you check in to your residence hall. I’m guessing you can just park in one of the lots on North and then take one of the buses. Not completely sure.

We had the 2-5 timeslot when S was a freshman. The first thing S did when we arrived on campus was to go to the registration building, near Barton? Hall. There is some parking nearby, although it will be very crowded and you may not find parking on the first pass. We stayed in the car with his luggage and since his paperwork was completed well in advance, registration only took 10 min. or so.

thank you so much hopefully i’ll find a spot! :p

You can do registration any time on Friday (and Saturday I think) at Bartels Hall. It’s all the way down Campus road next to the football stadium.

Can we move the luggages to our dorms first before registration at Bartels??? Personally I’m not driving to the school and it’ll be a real hassle to carry those things around campus…

yes, you can move in before registration too…if you couldn’t, why would he be asking if he could do registration before move in?

You could probably park in the Crescent Lot …above the stadium. But … you can also park over on North and take the bus over to Bartells … or walk. If it’s a nice day, it’s a gorgeous campus.

You don’t have to register the day you arrive on campus, or even the week for that matter. You have until early September to register.
