I've already registered for classes (I'm on a waitlist for a different foreign language class, but I have everything that I need, basically), and I know that the system automatically prevents you from registering for a class that conflicts with one on your schedule... But I've registered for a class that ends on Tuesdays and Thursdays at eleven, and then I was able to register for a class that starts at eleven on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I've heard that instructors at UT usually let you out early so it's not something to worry about; is this true?

You’ll be fine. The advisors at orientation said that the professors let you out 10 minutes before the actual end of the class, and if not, you can go talk to them about your schedule/time issues.

That’s a relief… Getting all of the classes I needed was hard enough, so having to switch them around again would have been pretty tough. Thanks a bunch!

Yup, I wish someone would have told me at orientation (last year) that you have “passing time” in between classes. I spent almost four hours trying to arrange a schedule that didn’t have any adjacent classes!
