<p>I'm confused about financial aid and paying BAR also. If we have enough financial aid to cover for the quarter, do they just automatically pay with our finaid so basically we won't have to do anything? Or does the finaid gets transferred into our bank account, and then we pay ourselves?</p>
<p>Check your BAR account every month, if you didn't get an email, it means you're getting your alerts in some other manner (paper, etc). You can change it by calling the finaid people.</p>
<p>First you pay the "Maximum Credit Card Payment Allowed". If it's $0.00, it means finaid paid it all for you. </p>
<p>You'll get your finaid on the beginning of every new quarter. So, first finaid pays for your tuition on URSA and you'll get the remaining finaid transferred to your bank accounts (if you have BruinDirect. If you don't, you'll get a check in the mail.). </p>
<p>Don't forget, finaid doesn't automatically pay for housing, so you'll have to do that yourself.</p>

<p>Yes, if you have an amount listed in the "maximum credit card amount" then you can pay anytime before Sept. 20th. You definitely do not need to wait until finaid is disbursed to pay.</p>
<p>danngit. i thought stafford loans were disbursed automatically to your checking accounts and not used immediately for tuition.</p>
