i just made a change of schedule on telebears
dropped a 4 unit course, added a different 4 unit course
when i checked on schedule.berkeley.edu, the course i added had one space left, so i thought i could take the spot. however, when i added the class on telebears, it said that the class is full and i'll be #1 on the waiting list. i took it.
i checked schedule.berkeley.edu again, and now it says the course is full but no one on the waiting list. wth?

well, I do know (or at least what I heard) that the online schedule is only updated so often ( i think once a week or so?). So that might be the reason. Other than that I don't know.

yes, i learned the hard way that updates only happen either every night or every weekend, depending on phase.

i signed up for a seminar when i thought there were 2 spots left, but ended up being first on the waitlist.

not the biggest deal, but a little frustrating nonetheless.

I think that on schedule.berkeley.edu, you have to click on "Click here for current enrollment information and course restrictions" to get the current enrollment status. If you just look at the actual board but do not click on that link, that information is not current.
