Is anyone familiar with the policies about special permissions to register for classes that are closed?
Do you have to talk with the professor directly or email him/her?</p>

<p>depends on the class, for the math department they usually dont give out special permission #s, but on the first day of classes go and talk to the professor for a number. The labs you usually can’t get a special permission for but you can try.</p>

<p>go and sit through the first class then approach the professor after class, say you were very interested in the class and ask if there is any possible way to get into the class, and if the prof. is nice enough, he or she should give you a special permission number that you can place into the box on web reg.</p>
