How screwed am I if I go to UCSD with next to no units in terms of class registration?
I'm estimating 5's in Chem and Calc BC to go with my 5 in Bio, but I'm a Human Biology major. Will I be able to get the classes I want? Are the "bad" professors really that bad?

possibly somewhat at a disadvantage.
yes, eventually.
not really. keep in mind that some classes don’t have the luxury of picking from multiple professors. some are only offered as 1 lecture a year.

First quarter is ordered by lottery. After that, you might have trouble with it depending on your majors. Many times you’ll get the classes you want but not the times/professor you prefer. You can always consider taking CC classes this summer to get a little boost.

I got 8 units from chem. I think you get 8 units for BC and Bio too, but yeah, 1st quarter registration is random.
