Regret College Choice

I had a hard time deciding between two schools that were both instate and I was freaking out before I began my first year constantly worried that I had made the wrong choice. I had a really tough time getting settled for the first half of my year and I thought about transferring a great amount but I stuck with it. After completing a full year I could not be more in love with the school I chose to attend and I am extremely excited to go back in the fall. It takes time, but if she can find things to get excited about and just give it a try she might end up happy with her choice after all. Going to college (especially farther away) is scary! But it can also be wonderful and cause a lot of growth. If it doesn’t work out she can always transfer down the road-its all part of the process. Good luck to you and your daughter OP.

Having similar experience w kid after a week. Dorm issues, poor execution on orientation, feeling like chaotic place.
