Regrets and mistakes during high school?

I should have worked harder my freshmen year in Economics. That class was a joke considering the teacher was really old and wasn’t a very good teacher … No offense. Although, he was nice.

I should have worked harder in Hon. Precalculus. After I kept getting bad test grades 3 times in a row, I should have done something about it instead of nothing. I stayed after school to go over them, but it was too late. I was lucky enough to not get an absolutely horrific class average. However, I did improve a LOT in Honors Calculus and received a 95 on the final with an A- in the class, so I hope colleges can see I stepped up.

I should have pushed myself harder in Comp. (History + English class). That class was a freaking mess. It was incredibly hard, brutal, and felt unfair. But, whatever. What’s done is done. It’s in the past. I celebrated to myself when that year long class was over. Sure, I was disappointed with my grade, but I couldn’t bear it any longer.

Oh, and I should have been more outgoing, participated more in class, took leadership roles, doubled up in math and science (Didn’t know you could freshmen year! I’m any only child, so I wasn’t aware you could).

There’s a lot of things I wish I had done …
