I should have worked harder my freshmen year in Economics. That class was a joke considering the teacher was really old and wasn’t a very good teacher … No offense. Although, he was nice.

I should have worked harder in Hon. Precalculus. After I kept getting bad test grades 3 times in a row, I should have done something about it instead of nothing. I stayed after school to go over them, but it was too late. I was lucky enough to not get an absolutely horrific class average. However, I did improve a LOT in Honors Calculus and received a 95 on the final with an A- in the class, so I hope colleges can see I stepped up.

I should have pushed myself harder in Comp. (History + English class). That class was a freaking mess. It was incredibly hard, brutal, and felt unfair. But, whatever. What’s done is done. It’s in the past. I celebrated to myself when that year long class was over. Sure, I was disappointed with my grade, but I couldn’t bear it any longer.

Oh, and I should have been more outgoing, participated more in class, took leadership roles, doubled up in math and science (Didn’t know you could freshmen year! I’m any only child, so I wasn’t aware you could).

There’s a lot of things I wish I had done …

It was a different girl that I referred to in my post. But that girl knows this girl, they’re all friends. it’s an asian connection. I have talked to this girl, online, but I haven’t seen her in a while. I’ll probably see her when school starts.

Ah, okay. Well, good luck. I hope it all works out for you.

Need to add another regret: I should have taken TASP seriously, and not as just another random summer program sending me a packet. Especially since I’ve been looking at Deep Springs. I feel like I missed out on an opportunity.

I am only a sophomore and I already have some regrets:

I should have taken more honors classes freshman year, joined track and cross country freshman year, should have tried dating, should have gotten an A+ instead of an A- my first semester of Italian class, and should have done a better choir audition. Basically, I wasn’t really a screw up because I got straight A’s, joined a lot of clubs, and won a few school awards, but I should have done better.

[ul]Should’ve tried harder overall. I didn’t give it my all, and I regret that.
[]Inconsistency in academics, co-curricular activities, and mood.
[]Acrimonious relationships with some teachers.
[]Being an all-around assshole when it was uncalled for.
[]Not self-studying for some AP exams I was interested in.
[]Not seriously studying for the SAT or the PSAT.
[]Letting my psychological problems get the better of me.
[li]Alienating myself from my family.[/ul]
[/li]

The last one is probably my biggest regret, as I know I can never recover the relationships. Don’t burn your bridges, folks - especially not with your mother.

Freshman Year:
-Should’ve fixed the grade glitch from Health class. Got a B and now my GPA will never be perfect…
-Should’ve joined any extra curricular, lol

Sophomore Year:
-Should’ve worked harder in the first semester of French. Could’ve gotten an A
-Should’ve joined more ECs

Junior Year (I’m 1 week in):
-I should drop APES, I hate this stupid class. I think I’m going to switch into Physics because this class sucks so much, and I may have some time left… fingers crossed

i lol’d @LAXer25 but i regret not really joining anything freshman year, all i did was some ACT prep classes after school and football conditioning, which i might not do because i might have to transfer schools since mines might be shut down. oh well

Should have quit video games earlier.
Should have done more actually fun/fulfilling stuff.
Should have tried in H Civics and AP World History.
Should have been more social.
Should have read more recreationally.
Should have got interested in colleges a bit earlier.
Should have studied for PSAT.
Should have taken first SAT earlier to avoid scheduling problems.

Freshman:
Should have studied harder in Science class.
Should have been more outgoing with classmates.

Sophomore:
Should have read more for English class.
Should have taken AP US History.

Junior:
Should have studied for the SATs.
Should have listened in Physics class.
Should have slept less and spent more time on school work.
Should have stopped procrastinating.
Should have tried harder on homework.

… Here I am entering Senior year with a GPA that could have been much better. If I tried harder, I could be looking at a complete different list of colleges.

Freshman/Sophomore Year:
Shoulda been more careful with who i trust and make my friends (cuz they dont care bout school, pressure me, or are flat out backstabbers) and worked harder in school
Coulda have a 3.9 GPA instead of a 3.5 weighted
Woulda have not disappointed my parents and my true friends =/
