<p>I highly doubt that the decisions for regular decisions are going to be sent out any earlier than the set date of April 1, 2007. Remember that the admission officers are very precise about who and who they will not admit. It takes a while and maybe, just maybe if they made all thier final decisions, they will be released in the mail. Don't worry, it's been a month and a half, only one month left to wait. The best way I cope with this is to not think about it until the day before.</p>
<p>The Ivies date is March 29. Guess D will have to wait a few more days for W&M</p>
<p>This is a thread from last year, dated mid-March, showing that decisions were received during the third week of the month in 2006. So you may not have to wait until April 1st!</p>
<p>The Monroe Scholars acceptance letters historically have gone out during the first week of March - perhaps we'll start seeing posts about that soon.</p>

<p>i looked at last year's threads and if admissions goes with the same schedule as last year, they'll mail out monroe scholas 3/9 and RD decisions 3/16.</p>

<p>Well... I don't think you should get excited and wait by your mailbox on 3/16... that was just last year who knows when they'll decide to mail it out this year...</p>

<p>someone told me they got a record number of apps this year. typical.</p>
<p>You might give the Admission's Office a call. Since all you're asking about is a notification date, they should be able to give it to you. We did that for ED and they told me that they'd mailed the letters out the day I called.</p>
<p>There is an article right now on the W&M website about the record number of apps this year... they increased in every area (aka male, female, and in-state) BUT good news for other OOSers like myself is that out of state apps actually decreased by a few hundred.</p>
