Regular Admission for Class 2018

Decisions won’t be released until March 25, as per Colgate’s web site.

I applied there too…i am looking forward to getting my decision, i hope it is a good one…Good luck everyone

I’m getting ready for a rejection letter :frowning: because I’m a international student asking for full financial aid and my SAT score is really low, so I can’t hope any higher.

I think international students will get mails by fedex(at least students in China)…I just wonder that whether fedex will send us emails notifying we have packets from Colgate(if we have??)…I even consider calling fedex at 25th to ask if I have an mail??..Good luck to all of you~~(and me! lol)

do you think they will fedex to west coast?

@darksky29 same here. Don’t lose hope though, you never know! Would you mind sharing your stats and schools you applied to with me via PM?

Have you seen the admission office lately? They have lots of envelopes hanging around—must be for a mailing they are doing. #colgate2018
this was on tweeter.
Does it mean it will be sent out soon?

Are rejections for international students emailed this year, as well?

^ don’t be so pessimistic. Believe in yourself. Colgate might send emails today.

@TheCrazyDude I wasn’t trying to sound pessimistic! I was just genuinely curious after reading this comment, that’s all.

Seems like it.

“Applicants with non-U.S. mailing addresses will have their decisions sent via a global courier delivery service or e-mail.”

I guess emails for internationals are probably gonna be rejections. But I’m just guessing here.

Has anyone received anything yet?

This seems very interesting, because Colgate has a tradition of sending packages via snail mail, even to internationals like myself (I got a Colgate letter invitation to apply, Colgate map and all sort of things like that, this fall)… But, it really is logical to e-mail rejections, since there are gonna be so many of those… Now I don’t want to hear anything via e-mail, haha… Good guy, FedEx, come on! :prayingsmiley:

:)

Hey @Howyesno6 around when did you get your package? Do you stay quite far from the US?

Any int’l get an email yet?

@sxcs95 I got it in November, I think, and I live in Eastern Europe, so it is pretty far away… But, this isn’t relevant at all… The important thing is that Colgate is used to sending packages, even to people who are far from the US :)

@thenewdude nope

Got the email. Rejected. SAT - 1970, Chemistry - 800, Math II - 780, GPA - 9.8/10.

Rejected, SAT-2150, GPA-3.85.
