International rejected.

2140 SAT, 3.67 GPA
760 Physics, 710 Math 2
117 TOEFL
Great essay, Good recommendations.
Weak ECs.

Only 2 decisions left to come, all have been either rejections or no financial aid. It’s looking bad haha

I hope Colgate is in need of my presence on campus (for sake of diversity). African American male, when I went to the reception in California I was the only African American guy in their, lol.

*there.

It’s ok 20 inch, I’ve been getting rejections up the wazzu–and my stats are relatively lower.

when did u guys get the email? i am international, but i have not heard from colgate…

You may have gotten accepted mate. For internationals, it’s either e-mail: rejection, or courier truck: acceptance. At least that’s what it seems.

okay…tks, i hope so… but is it possible that the emails come out in waves?

I don’t know, I guess you should be safe because most of the rejection e-mails came simultaneously, which is why like 6 internationals consecutively came back with rejections around that time period. I don’t think it would have come out in waves, its easier for admissions to do it all in one shot.

Mails came out in 30 minute waves but if you haven’t got one yet, you’re probably accepted.

i have not received any mail, and i have even checked my junk box. still nothing, strange! if i reli got accepted, will i get an email?

If you are an international and you haven’t got an email, it is very likely that you’ve been accepted.

@TheCrazyDude, take heart…it’s not time to give up yet

Has anyone in the states gotten any letters yet?

I haven’t received a letter from Colgate yet and I live only 3 1/2 hours away!

Last year and what they’re doing this year they send Fex-Ex packages later to those admitted and you have to sign for it and everything. No Fed-Ex = rejection

This is from a thread from last March:
“I just called the Colgate admissions office because I was freaking out about not receiving a “robocall,” but the woman who answered was super nice and told me that acceptance letters/packages are sent via Fed Ex west of the Mississippi and by regular mail east of the Mississippi! Hope this helps!”

Anyone have any insight as to whether the same thing is happening this year? @prepbballer11: Does your comment only apply to those who live west of the Mississippi?

Accepted! I live in New York and received my letter in the mail today!

@Ranza123 - Congratulations!! Did your letter come by regular mail? Large envelope? My DD is keeping her fingers crossed til she hears…

Our son was accepted ED this year; we live east of the Mississippi and the letter was sent Fed-Express. Good luck everyone!

@3ddsmom Thanks! Yeah, it came by regular mail in a relatively large envelope. I’m sure she’ll hear soon! Good luck!
