<p>Waitlisted in MA. Very scared when I saw a small envelope. This is so much better than a rejection especially because I have already been rejected to all of the other selective schools I applied to, so getting the “best” news from my top school was really great. I still have a chance, albeit slim. I guess I will enroll at UMass Amherst (1 of my 2 acceptances…) and hope for more news later. Part of me wishes I applied ED but I was afraid for financial reasons. I wonder if I would’ve gotten accepted if I had more money.</p>
<p>Waitlisted, but I’ll take it over a rejection. I know admittance off the waitlist is tough at Colgate, but at least I was in the running I guess!</p>

Letters were prob OK (2 strong & 1 in the middle), my regional counselor also graduated from my HS so that may have worked in my favor</p>
