I attended Richmond many years ago and have a soft spot for it. I’m rather surprised there are no threads for RD 2020. I gather that many of the applicants are highly competitive and are disinclined to self-identify as worried or apprehensive. So in an effort to help out, I’ll start the thread. Good luck to all the applicants; if you haven’t visited and you are accepted, I strongly encourage you to visit before accepting an offer elsewhere. Richmond is one of the prettiest campuses in the world (yes world). The science building is like a ski lodge, the dining hall overlooks the lake with a food selection like a cruise ship, the gothic architecture is stunning, and the feeling of sitting in class, on a rainy day, looking through the metal framed windows always reminded me of Cambridge (UK). Curiously (very curiously), the Twitter page, Facebook page, Admissions Office page, and College Confidential are all silent on the RD admissions release date, but hopefully folks have time to visit before making a decision. I wish all of you the best of luck. It’s a GREAT school.

No @navyandwhite7 and my son has already been notified of his admission as a scholarship finalist.
They mailed out the letters yesterday.

It was posted on the Richmond admissions twitter yesterday with photos.
I live in western Massachusetts. How long will it take for me to get the decision?
Are all the Richmond letters being sent by US mail? Are international letters by email or Fedex? Thanks.
@londondad I checked on the UR Admissions twitter page and they said international RD applicants will be notified via email only in the middle of next week–probably Wednesday or Thursday
