@shirleykabir the same thing happened to me-i have lived in virginia my whole life and was “ineligible for in state privileges.” i called the admissions office as soon as i saw it and it turned out that i just forgot to fill out a form, and i was switched to in state. i suggest you ask about that because being in vs out of state makes a huge difference

I know someone who received a Rodman email today - subject line was Join us for Days on the Lawn - Rodman Scholar Program
@collegec123 Thanks! I actually declined my admission today (sad moment :-S ) but hopefully that frees up a spot for someone else!
Will getting a C in Calc 2, 4 A’s, and one B+ get my admission offer rescinded?
@alassian I got an email yesterday morning saying I got into the Echols program
accepted <3 so grateful <3 does uva mail us a physical acceptance letter? or do we only see our status online?
@glitterinq we should be getting acceptance packets in the mail early this week!
@alassian I got into Echols! Don’t think I’ll be attending, though.
Accepted OOS (NJ), 3.9ish GPA, URM, 11/10 Extracurriculars, lit essays, 1950 SAT (680CR/710WR/560M)
Looks like the Hoos are going down. Hah!
Accepted! I was really surprised to get in
I don’t know how I got in with a 4.26 GPA & 1970 SAT, few ecs while a lot of people were waitlisted/rejected in state (not a URM either) So blessed. I’d thank Jesus, my family & teachers for my success!
Waitlisted !
did anyone get a physical letter yet?
@rojomargarita not yet for me. Hopefully soon!
Thank you so much @mnolkh for the advice! I just called them and they said I filled out all the forms and completed the residency part of my application. The admissions representative said that they’ll have the reviewers view my application again. But I am not sure if they’ll view it in time for me to change my decision from Cornell -> UVA. But thank you again!!
2310 700 literature and 800 math level2. NOVA DENIED
Great test scores mean very little. So why require them?
Maybe I should have applied to Syracuse.
