@tylerperez12 @whatyouflex I did that. Yes it was earlier, but I think it might be too late as it takes a day or so to set up. Wow. I had excellent stats but still WL. Its painful. Congrats to all accepted.
@lauren887, There is still a chance. Look at it this way, if it is not Wake, with your excellent stats there are plenty of schools that would die to have you. Who knows what a college looks at when filling out a incoming class. Remain positive. I wish you nothing but the best.

@lauren887 I am so sorry… I’m super nervous for tomorrow. I got denied from all of my reach schools so I’m just going to have to go to my state school since they gave me so much scholarships, so Wake is my last chance 
Hey guys I’m from NJ I applied to wake back in October for regular decision 1 and then got a defferal letter does anyone know if the people who got deferred actually end up getting in. Also if anyone is from NJ let me know if you got some sort of letter yet. Thanks.

@johncast19 I really don’t have a lot of info sorry, but were you taking a lot of AP classes? Maybe they wanted to see your performance in them through mid year reports. But luckily they know you were ED so you have a lot of demonstrated interest and they like seeing that
@ilovabs yeah that’s what I think it was I did well in my APs and then I’ve spoken to the admission counselor who revises the applicants coming across NJ and the east coast. When I got deferred I sent an email to admissions officers and I was being very exuberant and then a couple of months later in the beginning of January I sent them another email stating the new clubs and EC’s I just enrolled in. They replied back saying if they can use that email also as part of my application when I review, so of course I said yes. But I don’t know I’m so nervous.
Waitlisted. 3rd in a class of 250. 3.9 UW GPA. Tons of community service, hold state level office of two organizations,very strong recs, and think essays are strong. I did not send test scores, weakness. I sent same to UNC and got EA the basic difference was test scores

Does anyone know if doing the interview actually increases your chance of getting in cause I did the interview in august and I thought it went really well but then I still ended up getting deferred when I applied early decision 1.
