@tingdad that is ridiculous and so absurd. I have heard that if you dont interview and havent been to campus that they feel you would never go and they pull crap like that.
@truthspeaker: interview Ed at early summer at campus. Interview went well. I guess we are not rich enough? This is insane.

Accepted in NJ, 4.0 unweighted GPA, NHS Officer, Varsity Captain, did not interview, top 4 in class
@Tingdad … no consolation, I’m sure, but perhaps WF thought your child was “over-qualified” and would not even consider attending b/c he would have gone to a top-20 school instead? Sorry; I honestly can’t think of why else your child would be turned down! I am sure he has many wonderful options based on those stats.
Waitlisted. 3.9 UW GPA. Top 3% of class. 2240 old SAT. Good ECs & leadership. No interview, so maybe that could be part of the reason? Accepted to BC Honors, UMiami, Richmond, Fordham

Just received my acceptance!!!

Waitlisted in Miami. 29 ACT (bc I bombed science… other scores were solid/strong), 1320 new SAT with 22/24 essay. Great essays and supplements (those were fun!). Hispanic. 11 APs and 5 dual enrollments. Top 10% but lowish UW (3.4UW, 4.6W). Really focused and interesting ECs including research position and leadership, all related to major of interest. Good interview, did visit. Loved it and accepting spot on WL. Waiting on three more… also in at BC (with 4 years housing which, apparently, is a thing), Fordham (with $), New College FL, Rollins (with $), FSU, UCF, waitlisted at Smith.
Good luck to us all! Congrats to those accepted! I def think ED2 impacted our chances in The RD round, so in other years perhaps many of the WL might have been accepts, and many rejected may have been WL. To those rejected… I know the feeling well. Have had 9 so far…

from Ohio. 34 ACT, 3.8 UW GPA, Top 5% class rank, 13 AP’s, lots of meaningful EC’s. I am pretty surprised by this one. Not sure if I am going to take spot on waitlist or not; I think I just want to yeet on over to UVA haha.
Also I didn’t interview so that may have played a part in the waitlist lol
