Is there an applicant portal or anything for Wake or just emailing?
@cccrsn just emailing for international students and snail mail for applicants in the us
I never got any email from Wake after I applied…
@cccrsn Did you get the email that I think went out to all applicants, the one about applying to Global AWAKEnings?
Yes
Okay good…at least you know they have your correct email address. My daughter applied RD in Sept. and received a couple of emails thanking her for applying. I heard if you applied in Dec. when they were going through the system change over, I don’t think applicants were receiving the confirmation emails.
Do you think if I interviewed and visited do you guys think I have a chance with a lower gpa of uw 3.4 and w 4.2 with a 2100 sat???
@cloe.salas Your SAT is really good. Does your school rank? Hdw do you think your interview went and how strong were your essays?
I thought the interview went well and my essays were excellent and I’m in 4th decile.
Wait I thought you said in the syracuse thread you had a 3.8 gpa and a 2200 sat?
Do you guys know when decisions are coming out? Also for financial aid Wake is one of the schools that didn’t ask me to send in my w-2 forms do you guys know why?
Does anyone know if smaller merit decisions come with the admission letter? I won’t be able to attend without merit, but I wasn’t invited to the full ride weekend. I’m just wondering if there’s still a chance of getting a partial award if I get in.
Do you qualify for aid since Wake gives more money out for financial aid then they do for merit
@cloe.salas Not much and definitely not enough to make it worth passing up other merit offers.
If I didn’t receive interview invitation, does it mean I am going to be rejected??
no
You had to sign up to volunteer
How much do you guys think the interview plays a role in the admission process?
I feel like Wake is one of the few schools that really care about interviews
@cloe.salas when did the interviews take place
