I have an opinion question I’d love to ask the thread. I’m big into Shakespeare so I wrote my top 10 on the top shakespeare insults. I thought it was funny yet intelligent, but I’m worried it might have come across as cynical. What do you all think?

A little background: I was waitlisted at WashU but rejected from several other schools such as Northeastern, Northwestern, Pomona, etc.
GPA: 94 numeric
ACT: 32 superscore; 30 composite
EC: Played freshmen football in 9th grade. Played varsity football in 10th and 11th grade. Clubs and volunteer services: National Spanish Honors Society, 1-2-1 Reach ( a club that involves high school students tutoring middle school students), Flood, HOSA, FBLA, Next Generation Focus ( a non-profit organization that helps remedial students), many church leadership roles and volunteer services ( I became a youth group shepherd in my junior year), volunteer service at a local library, volunteer service at Furkids Animal shelter, and hospital volunteer and experience.
APs: AP Physics 1 (junior year), Senior year: AP Statistics, AP Calc BC, AP Chemistry, AP Biology, AP Economics, AP Spanish Language and Culture.
I am undecided.
I applied to the college of arts and sciences.
I am the first generation in my family to go to college.
I received the Varsity Athletic Scholar Award in my sophomore and junior year.
I received honor roll every year in high school.

When will we hear from wake? This week?

Hey guys, so does anyone know a specific date when Wake Forest will mail out decisions?
@AriShmari, Wake’s goal is to have their decision to applicants by April 1. My guess is Wake will mail the decisions the 27th or 28th. Stay tuned I will let people know when the decisions leave Wake’s admissions office. I hope everyone reading gets a big black envelope. Go DEACS!

Didn’t WF send out notices on 3/23 last year? Waiting until next week seems late given that the first admitted student day is 4/7. Not much time for people to book flights.
I’m curious if anyone has heard about merit aid from Wake? I was under the impression that they sent out finalists letter earlier in February but I’ve heard no one mention it. Thanks
I agree with MCBRight. Not a whole lot of time to make plans to attend admitted students day. Especially if you are coming from the Midwest.

We are coming from Philadelphia. Booking two weeks in advance the tickets are expensive enough (~$600)…if it is April 1st that will be within 1 week and tickets will probably be in the $1500 range. My daughter has a conflict on the 2nd date so the 7th is the only date she can make.
I think they mail them on Saturday and people start getting them Monday Tuesday depending how far they live. That’s what I wrote down from last year but I’m not 100% sure
