Regular Decision Acceptance Rate

Doing some quick math, it seems that there was a 5.9% acceptance rate for the regular round, beating out even Harvard's 6.9%.

This is incredible! How low can college acceptance rates go? Will future classes see lower rates?

What was the acceptance rate for internationals?

i wonder if yale’s admit rate would still beat harvard’s 6.9%, if the total admit rate, consisting of scea and rd, were added together…

Yale’s total admit rate is %7.5. “Beaten”(as you put it) by both Harvard(%6.9) and Stanford(7.2%).
I was accepted at all three, as an international asking for financial aid.
And I must say, Yale’s FA offer totally beats Stanford’s, there was a ~13-14k difference.(Didn’t get Harvard offer yet, in mail)

[Yale Daily News - Admit rate stays flat, waitlist swells](http://www.yaledailynews.com/news/university-news/2010/04/02/admit-rate-stays-flat-waitlist-swells/)

RD rate was 5.2%, same as last year.

Ah my bad, it was 5.2%. Even crazier.
