Regular Decision Acceptance

I got a different letter then the rest of you, mine clearly says i was put on the waitlist.

“The Committee on Admission has completed its review of applications for the Class of 2013, and I write to inform you that you have been placed on our waiting list. Although we cannot offer you admission at the present time, the option for future consideration is being extended to you because of the strength of your application. The waiting list is not arranged in any order of priority and we do not expect to reach a decision regarding possible offers of admission until the last week in April.”

super_leader they probably felt you were using them as back-up or something
but yeah i don’t understand why you just didn’t get waitlisted
i guess it really does depend on the program… lemme guess did u apply for engineering?

super_leader if you are an international, its a different pool of selection… due to the fact they probly need to get you a visa…

…"Can anybody tell me what does this mean??? Is it a rejection? if so wat surprise will i get when i get the mail???
The Committee on Admissions has completed a review of all applications of international students requesting financial aid. We were impressed with your academic credentials, however, we are unable to offer you admission at this time. More information will be forthcoming in your decision letter mailed Thursday, March 26. If you have questions, please feel free to contact our office after you’ve received your letter.

Is it a rejection? if so wat surprise will i get when i get the mail??? "

Probably your letter will say that if you can afford to pay your way to Lehigh, they may reconsider you. FinAid for International students is very limited from what I understand. (Same for superleader)

I’m seconding, Laxmom. You’ve been accepted, but without financial aid.

In a way, I think that’s a better way to handle it than rejecting international applicants outright since at least they know they were good enough to gain admission. Still, it must sting.

IN! WOOT! anyone else going to diversity day?

I’m in and I’m going to the diversity weekend! Anyone else from Pittsburgh accepted/going there?

I got my acceptance and everything, but where do I register for candidates’ day? all i see on lehigh.edu/lehighportal is

ADMITTED STUDENTS

Congratulations on being admitted to Lehigh University!

Log on to the LEHIGH Campus Portal Now

How to Open Your Account:

and so on. then when i log into the campus portal, i still don’t see where to register. i know it’s not staring me in the face because i have looked many times over the past few days. i’ll probably call admissions tomorrow(well today since its past 12) but can anyone tell me where to find the registration form or button or something for candidates’ day? the link ar31791 posted says nothing about candidates’ day. searching the site didnt help either.

karcyr, you need to create a new account with the information printed on the BACK of your acceptance letter. When you log in that new account, you will see a calendar on the FirstYearStudent tab in the middle of the page. Click on the appropriate link to your college’s Candidate’s Day registration.
If you still can’t find them:
