OK.. I don't characters... but it wasn't the 'when' of getting the envelope it was the mentioning of the exact envelope size. I thought it cute.

its ok because if and when I get mail from Colgate tomorrow ...I will have a ruler there and I will measure it >< although ill probably be able to realize with the .42 cent postage (assumption) ><

hey, i was accepted to colgate EDII. i called the admissions office about april visit days on wednesday morning and they had just sent out the regular decision letters. if you're US, you should probably hear today or tomorrow!

jen: hopefully yours will require several dollars of postage!

Just received my letter! Hope you all get yours quickly!

cranberrykiss--Congratulations! I hope you're having fun jumping up and down and being happy!

Thanks cadence! Oh and bluebayou reminded me - the package was sent first class, not priority.

I'm in! Great personal note from Mr. Ross.

my son's best friend got his letter. regular mail. accepted. we live in the Boston suburbs

Just heard throught he mail. I was accepted. I live in Maryland. Woohoo!!

Suburban Philadelphia too!!!

I live in Baltimore, MD, and I did NOT get a letter today!!!!!!!!

Hopefully tomorrow...

surprisingly no mail today guys..I am very disappointed..I guess this means rejection ><..Congratulations to all who got in though!

Central Time Zone...mid-afternoon, after the mail, a beautiful FEDEX van pulled up with acceptance package to Colgate University!
The letter included a hand written note from Mr. Gary Ross and the package included information about visiting Colgate in April.
I like the number thirteen even more!!!

wait so is it coming FedEx or regular mail? (I assume fedex for acceptance regular mail for rejections?)

I'm pretty sure they were all mailed out on wednesday, all decisions no matter what they may be.. I talked to someone in the admissions office and said they didn't send out acceptance letters earlier/with a priority mail service..

I'm so seriously hoping this is true cause I haven't received my letter yet.

livinonthedge: where do you live?

Is it bad if I haven't received a letter and I live in CT?

according to admissions we should all be hearing in the next few days. i live in ct as well and i haven't heard yet, but someone from my school who lives very close to my house got her acceptance letter today. but people have been getting acceptances, waitlists, and rejections, not just acceptances. not having received it yet is not a bad sign, nor is it a sign that you're rejected.

Thanks Snookie. I was kind of worried, but that's a relief to hear that.
