<p>I applied about 3 days before the deadline. Was able to create an account yesterday. Got the frowny face until i checked today and was able to view the scholarship info.</p>
<p>@njdevil - where are you logging in/clicking on in the portal to get that info? I was able to set up D’s portal yesterday but it is very generic - nothing personal populated anywhere and so many things to click on. I’m wondering if ours looks different from yours and the other people with actual info. </p>
<p>I asked American University if not being able to sign in means rejection and they said “No, this is not correct. If you applied regular decision please note that decision letters are mailing this week.” </p>
<p>I applied RD and i was able to create an account and log in today. I also submitted my application in January. </p>

<p>I am getting really worried. I try to make an account on the student portal thing like people have mentioned and it says it doesn’t recognize my information. Not promising at all. I figure if they sent out the mail already, then they would have finished setting up the accounts too. I’m trying not to jump to conclusions but it’s hard to stay calm :(</p>

<p>Well I hope its an acceptance, and then they’d have to… The other universities I applied to sent the decision by mail and via email or online portal. This will take so long and I’m really anxious to know!</p>

<p>So I was able to log into both of my portals (old and new). No letter yet but after snooping around on the portal, I found my financial aid award letter. Does this mean I was accepted?</p>

<p>were are people finding the financial aid info on the portal? </p>

<p>Click on finances under the personalized links, then go down to Financial Aid: Award Letter. Select your semester and it should come up. </p>
<p>“There is no Financial Aid information for the selected year.
Award Letter is not available on-line to you at this time.”</p>
