Has anyone from Florida gotten their letter in the mail yet?

Can people who have heard back post their stats? Or is there already a separate page for that? I can’t seem to find one.

In southeastern VA. Still no letter. Disappointed, I thought for sure it would come today. It usually only takes a day for a letter from DC to get here :/

Got my acceptance today
I had a 96 weighted average, and a 2030 SAT, 31 or 32 ACT, with decent EC.
I’m in NY, but my friend from the same area got his before me, so don’t fret just yet!

Accepted today in central NJ into the scholars program with a $10,000 merit scholarship!

Accepted with invitation to Scholar’s program and Presidential Scholarship! Got the letter in southeastern PA. I’m so happy!
33 ACT, 4.0 w/uw pretty good recs/extracurriculars
Congratulations to everyone that was accepted and to those who weren’t, I know you will all find a place where you belong! Good luck everyone x

Accepted! Just got my letter in the mail! (I live in southern Maryland.) My portal still isn’t up-to-date, so don’t worry if yours isn’t showing that you’re in - it doesn’t mean you were rejected!
Stats: GPA 3.9 UW, 4.5 W; SAT 2030; 5 AP’s; Good recommendations; OK essays; a lot of community service and EC’s.
Congrats to everyone else who got in!! I probably won’t be going though, as it’s still very expensive. To the people who didn’t get in, it’s not the end of the world, I promise. I’ve been rejected from a couple of my top choices too. I believe everything happens for a reason, and we’ll all go where we’re supposed to end up. (:

I still haven’t received an email. I emailed admissions and they said I would be notified by April 1…WHAT? I’m so confused

My portal works, but my financial aid letter explicitly says spring… What does this mean? Like it has one column called “spring” and lists my grants/loans and then another column says total, which has the same info as the column that says “spring”. What does that mean? I’m really worried… They wouldn’t give me financial aid for just the spring semester, would they?? Helpppp

@nhea18 I’m in the same boat. I’m assuming that this means we are Spring Admits… meaning that we won’t be attending classes in the fall, but in the Spring. I’m looking into the Washington Mentorship Program too. :

My letter says the same thing, but I don’t think you should look too much into that. Their system has been displaying a lot of issues so don’t worry! Just wait for your letter in the mail. Plus the award year at the top of the letter says “2014-2015” so I don’t think we’re spring admits

@goldendoor that’s what I was thinking at first but I looked at their admission plans and did some more research, and I don’t think that’s it. They don’t have an admission plan like that, and I haven’t seen any other schools that does that… @hannahrw7 has some good points. Hopefully she’s right!

@goldendoor, I saw your stats in an earlier post. My friend got admitted with very similar stats as you and also received a merit award. She was also unable to find out any information from her online portal. I’m sure you are fine :)

@hannahrw7 @goldendoor I’m seriously freaking out. I’ll be so upset if I only get in for the mentorship thing… apparently there’s no aid and there’s no way in hell I can afford that. I don’t get it my stats were all in the right range- 29 ACT, 3 high 700 subject tests, lots of AP/honors… And I’ve been on varsity sports teams, employed since freshman year, part of NHS. My essays were the best ones it wrote for colleges. I’m about to cry.

Oh don’t worry you’ll definitely be fine! My friends with lower stats (1800 SAT, few AP classes) were admitted. My stats are: 2050 SAT, 4.0 GPA, 740 subject test, varsity track, NHS, FHS, 9 AP classes, etc. I was really hoping for some merit aid but my award letter online only says I received loans so I’m kind of surprised and disappointed

@hannahrw7 Oh yay! I hope so. I live in NJ and I still haven’t gotten my letter! How frustrating… Looking forward to my BU rejection tomorrow so I can get closer to committing to AU!

I’m in PA and nothing yet, but 3 of my friends have gotten their acceptances! It must be alphabetical

@nhea18 Are you sure? I did research as well and found there were Spring Admissions, and we could choose to take part in the Washington Mentorship Program during the Fall Semester at American. I mean I hope it is just a regular Fall admission but I’m happy with anything at this point.

accepted in MA!!

Who qualifies for Washington Mentorship Program?
