Hi Everyone,

The University of Michigan has always been my dream school, and my goal all throughout middle school and high school was to work my back side off to get into this school. Unfortunately, I didn't preform anywhere near to the best of my ability and my chances are pretty low of me getting accepted into the university after reading all of these threads. I have had quite a number of problems in my household with my family and it really put a damper on things, but by no means is that an excuse. Anyway, I was thinking about applying just to see what will happen, but I have a quick question. If I decide to transfer after a year or two of college, not community, will my chances decrease if I apply now and get rejected? I am out-of-state and as far as my racial background, a minority, both parents from the middle east.

Thank you all in advance
