I am applying to Bucknell for engineering. I got a 31 on the ACT, have a 4.0 unweighted gpa, have taken mostly Honors and AP level classes, good recommendations, pretty good essays, and pretty good extracurriculars. However, I have not taken any SAT subject tests. Do you think I will get in?

Your GPA and ACT are certainly within range for Bucknell and I wouldn’t be concerned about the SAT subject tests- they are not a required component of the application. If you have strong AP test results (score 4 or 5) then it would be worthwhile to forward them to the admissions office.
One thing to keep in mind - Bucknell’s College of Engineering is their most competitive program in terms of freshman acceptance rates. For the class of 2016 (Engineering) there were 521 applicants accepted out of 2,228 (23%). I am sure quite a few of them were admitted ED1 or ED2 which will push down the acceptance rate further in the RD round.
Have you been to campus for the tour and info session? Have you been in contact with your regional admissions rep? Showing interest in the school is really important - they want to accept students that really want to be Bucknellians!
Best of luck to you CCrunner24 :-)

Yes I have visited the school and been to their information session but I have not been in contact with my local admissions representative. And I only have taken one AP test, the rest I will be taking this spring, but I got a 4 on it so I probably will forward that to the school. Thanks for the advice!
