Regular Decision Chances?

When a teenager applying to college makes that kind of statement it demonstrates a total lack of understanding of what colleges are looking for from EC’s. @HarvardDream101: As you have Harvard in your user name, maybe you should read how Harvard looks at EC’s: http://thechoice.blogs.nytimes.com/2009/09/14/harvarddean-part3/

OP, your EC’s are absolutely fine.

As Yale receives more applications from qualified students than they have room for in their class, Admissions uses a student’s teacher recommendations, guidance counselor’s Secondary School Report (SSR), essays, and interview report to choose one high performing student over another. As you haven’t posted any of those items (nor should you), the most anyone can say is that you are a qualified applicant – but so are most student’s who will ultimately be rejected. You’re new here, so possibly you haven’t read this thread; It’s written by an MIT Admissions Director, but everything in it holds true for Yale as well.
