I just found out about this site, and I'm curious what my chances are for Cornell. I can't wait any more, and this next month until April will kill me! I haven't had time to put stats into profile, but gpa unweighted on 4.33 scale is like 4.137ish and i've taken 5 APs total, scored 1450 on SAT, plus 800 on writing part, a 32 composite on ACTs, top 15 in my class of like 455 i think it is. I'm in National Honor Society, and I've done sports all four years of high school, have over 200 community service hours. As side notes, I've self-published a book, and my dad went to Cornell. I'd be greatful to hear any feedback on what people think my chances are...and yes I'll say it now I was stupid not to apply ED, but I didn't realize how much I'd like Cornell.

It seems as if your academic record is what Cornell normally finds in the majority of its accepted students...and the fact that you're legacy will help out. But not to be negative, I'm not the admissions officer reading your essays and subjective stuff like that, though you definitely seem better off than people I know that have gotten in.

i think you have the right credentials for cornell. Now unless your essays and recs are sub par, you will get in
