Regular decision chances??

Ok I was deferred after applying for EA, but I am now back with a vengeance! I think I wrote some really good essays and I raised my writing score on my SAT 100 points and raised my gpa a tiny bit. Enough talk here are the stats

SAT
CR- 700
M- 680
W- 610

GPA is a 3.49 Weighted

Have taken
AP US history
AP Psych
AP American Gov
AP Comparative Gov
AP Micro Econ
AP Environmental Science

and just a few unimpressive ECs

Feedback would be fantastic, iv tried to judge my self compared to other posts but everyone is so different and it would be better for a non biased observer to chance me.

decent chance, tho id say ur GPA is still a lil low, only cuz UGA takes GPA into high consideration. But I think your SAT will balance it out.

I think you may have a few challenges due to a few issues. First, 5 out of the 6 AP classes are in one area, and the sixth is in a less challenging science course as compared to AP Bio, Chem or Physics. Secondly, a self-reported "few unimpressive EC's" is not exactly a ringing endorsement for that area. Third, your SAT scores show great promise, but it does not look like it is playing out in the classroom. If you have a 700 CR, why are you not in an AP Lang or Lit.? As well, GPA's are always tricky, as a high school calculates it very differently than a college (or HOPE for that matter). Is this your core GPA? I have heard that UGA is going to do its usual late February admits for Reg. Dec./Deferred applicants who meet Early Action criteria soon, so everyone will see how that might shake things out. I am guessing you will have to wait until late March/early April for a decision, and I would suggest having a plan B option.
