Rank- 8/ 375 or so

local library volunteer

essays- who knows? i like them, maybe they will too
recs- I'm outspoken- some teachers really like me, some teachers really don't. Needless to say, I picked ones who liked me. Counselor was a former baseball coach, only one I read, and he put in a good word for me.
minority status- I often bubble in "other" when taking surveys. My Mother was born in Jamaica, my Dad is white. Chicago considers that "African-American"
School Type- Inner City Public. Class of '06 entered at over 600, 350 or so will graduate. Is it competitive? Not really, but I've seen much worse.
hook- Football Recruit

oh wow MMAs! uber cool. do you happen to do muay thai by any chance?

rob- They do indeed actaully want me to (in other words, recruiting and the whole nine yards). Talking to the coach two nights ago, and he mentioned my likely letter would soon be in the mail. As I understand it, this is as good as an acceptance letter, so you can count me in as part of this Class of '10 thing. A big part of me going to Chicago is indeed to play football ( that sounds kinda weird huh?). Go Maroons.

Muay thai is the style i know best!do u also do muay thai?

No - only some TKD.:(

other schools-Penn, USC. Applied to others, don't really wanna go there...

how long have u been doing jkd?btw the thai movie ong-bak's sequel is out,so cool!!!!!

Not long. Lol. A couple years. :o

JKD is something different. ;)

I've not seen Ong-Bak...

you are chinese right?possibly moved to france from hong kong?

well jkd's striking method works really well, but muay thai nicely complements jkd,coz of the close range elbow and knee strikes

JKD is a bit ambiguous - it's supposed to be a system that strives for completeness yadada so there's really not a set style, no?

I'm not really from France. AHHAA. And no, I'm not Chinese. I've never been to Hong Kong for that matter either.

Did you read my post? I do TKD not JKD.
