<p>USC-wannabe Totally differnt types of schools....................better think about what kind of environment you want. My D got into both USC and Tufts. USC offered BIG money, but she chose Tufts because.........no big football/sports emphasis; no big Greek emphasis; very much "east coast" compared to USC which is very very Southern Cal (we live in So Cal)..........kids have very different attitudes about what is important (that Tuft's world view thing).</p>

<p>thanks for the input blucroo. USC was always my top choice, but this year I really fell in love with Tufts. I am visiting Tufts on the 20th, so I will see how comfortable I feel there.</p>

<p>Hey, I'm also dealing with that USC vs Tufts choice.
Each is quite different, but with its merits. USC gets points for its weather, location: lifestyle things.
Tufts scores for its student body, not being a sporting college: Primarily academic things.</p>

<p>At this point I'm really comparing each college's weak points (in my opinion) against each other and waiting for financial info.</p>
