Regular Decision Class of 2016

so about 1 hour to go

What time is the decision released?!?

20 minutes :)

its released at 8 am!

tick tock tick tock…

in about 15 mins

I hope it doesn’t crash haha…

Nervewracking but necessary. Hoping the best for my beautiful MiddKidd in the making. And the best to you all. (Sigh).

waitlisted…@7:50 AM…

Rejected :(

Waitlisted. Heart nearly broken. Emotional unrest. Hope springs eternal. Maybe a good breakfast will make things better. TO THE KITCHEN!

Another stupid waitlist.

Accepted!! Very nervous there, after getting flatout rejected from Williams

Rejected. Not a huge surprise, but after a pretty solid application and a VERY good interview, really disappointing.

Accepted!

Good luck to those waitlisted, and to those rejected, everything works out in the end.

guys, don’t forget to join the facebook group! (IF you’re planning on attending) [Log In | Facebook](Middlebury College Class of 2016 | Facebook)

I was waitlisted as well, and I’m fine with that. I had a gut feeling this morning that I was going to get the trifecta in this college application process: Acceptances, a wait list, and a rejection. And I was right! Oh well. I probably won’t even bother with the whole wait list thing, because i’ve never actually visited Middlebury OR Vermont before (I was going to visit in a couple of weeks if I were to be accepted) but now I probably won’t even bother, honestly. I want the people accepted off the wait list to REALLY, REALLY want to go to Middlebury.
Congratulations to the accepted students! And to everyone else, we’ll end up exactly where we’re supposed to be.

rejected… 11 straight rejections for me :P

^I’m still not sure, though I’m definitely deciding between Barnard and the University of Michigan. I’m visiting New York City next week for the first time, and that’ll probably be the determining factor. I’m hoping to definitely decide in the next couple of weeks, but I fear I’ll be one of those people who submit their deposits on April 30th. :)
