Regular Decision Class of 2022

Hi @kiwifanatic , somewhere on 1 of the BU theeads, it was pointed out that some people last year who were RD got in with Our Records and some got in with Thank You. I think @sunflowerlover posted something after reading the threads.

Hi @Winky1 Here we are again, lol. This is what I just posted elsewhere. Do you agree? I think we’ve found that: 1. everyone starts out with "our records, 2. for EDI, the change correlates with acceptance and the lack of change correlates with deny/defer, and 3. For EDII and RF, the correlation isn’t cut and dried (some who don’t get the change may still be accepted, and some who get the change may still be denied).

*By RF I meant RD.

@YoungOne4 @Winky1 thank you for clearing this up, I feel a bit more relaxed now. So there definitely isn’t any compelling evidence for RD that the two messages indicate anything, it’s really only for ED I.

Yes @YoungOne4 and @kiwifanatic that is what I think for RD. What YoungOne said above.But I am not sure about EDII.

EDII is a bit of a mystery. On the EDII page for last year one person was rejected with the Thank You Message. My guess is that people who applied EDII with the Thank You message get either accepted or rejected and those with the other Our Records message are deferred. That is mere speculation since I didn’t even know people could get rejected during EDII until five minutes ago but I think it would make sense. Also, there is not one thank you message @YoungOne4 . There are two. Everyone starts out with one and eventually it may change to slightly different wording but still begins with “Our records indicate”

And yes @kiwifanatic , there is no correlation between the messages and acceptance for RD

does trustee scholarship info come our earlier than RD?

anyone else’s portal being really glitchy and weird?

@Soccergirl2232 Not here

What’s happening to your portal? I’m scared for you :)) @Soccergirl2232

the font is different, I can’t click on “Application Status” and the words scroll down too far off the page completely

I am not sure which will be a bigger relief - finally getting a decision or the end of portal message speculation.

I cannot open the portal because it says The Applicant Link is currently being updated , could they be uploading decisions?

@caligirl24 there is more speculation on the other 2022 thread. nobody knows, ED decisions were released several days early, but they sent an email on the 1st stating that they’d be released the 17th.

@ACollegeHopeful3 thanks I am going to head over to the other thread
