This is probably a stupid question but better safe than sorry right. When BC says that the application deadline is January 1, can my application still be sent in on that day or does in have to be sent in by the end of December 31? I want to get my common app in as soon as possible but just want to know if it came down to the last minute for whatever reason.

Also, I haven’t sent my common app to any colleges yet. Is it fairly easy to do and does it require a credit card for the application fee?

you can send it on the first, but avoid waiting last minute if you can. your out of luck if something happens to go wrong, and it kinda looks bad from an impression standpoint. and you do need a credit card or debit card to pay the app fees. other then that its fairly easy

If your using the Common App you can pay it with a credit card, that’s what I did. Once you log onto the Common App website you should see a Payments tab on the left. On a side note, you should pay your application fee and submit the BC supplement asap.

because the supplement is easy and does not require writing as essay. It gets your application file started with BC. And it will help in case you run into trouble. Remember tens of thousands will be sending in applications on the Dec 31st, Jan 1st, etc. So the system can get overwhelmed, so plan ahead… Your future is important so don’t wait till the last minute.

You want to submit your supplement asap so the admissions office can create a file for you. It will be more convenient for them to place the additional required documents (HS transcript, recommendation letters, test scores, etc…) into your created file. Also, you can see if BC has received your additional required documents through the Agora Portal (this is an online system, you get your user name and password a few days after submitting the supplement)

I submitted my common app and suplement on the Dec. 31. It won’t be a problem if they (along with my other app materials) don’t post on Agora until after the Jan. 1 deadline, correct?
