please help!!!!

and also, how do i convey to the admissions person who reads my application that vanderbilt is my #1 choice. wont it look weird that im not applying early decision? how do i share my story with them if theres no supplemental essay and my common app essay is already submitted to different schools and i dont want to change it.

To be quite honest, I think you’re a shoe-in for Vanderbilt. You have superior SAT scores, a myriad of extracurricular activities, and loads of community service hours. Also, you could always apply Early Decision II if you missed the deadline or if you did not know Vanderbilt was your first choice until very recently. It has the same deadline as Regular Decision. GOOD LUCK! And seriously, don’t worry too much. I’m sure you’ll be happy wherever you end up, even though it will probably be at Vanderbilt. :)

Simba: there is a section on the app for you to provide additional information that you feel might be important to your application. You can tell them Vanderbilt is your first choice there.

^Just like kreativekat advised. You’re a strong applicant and will be very competitive in the applicant pool. The legacy factor carries over into the RD round. Good luck!
