We thought the decision letter would arrive early April. I live in Cental NJ and will be headed to Florida at dawn on Tuesday. The letter may arrive on Monday. Although if it doesn’t, it’s interesting what would bother me MORE…impacting my brief vacation in a negative way…not knowing or knowing I didn’t get in (if that is the case).

We will have family getting the mail - - they would never open it, but knowing the size of the envelope matters, all I would need to hear is how big it is. I want this time away with family to be nice, so I’m struggling if I don’t get the letter on Monday before I go away, should just TRY to wait until I get back, or be sure to find out (ask relative getting mail the size of the envelope) when I’m away??

What would you do?

JGalvan - my son was accepted EA and got the letter Saturday - we are a little west of O’Hare.

D was deferred EA, accepted RD.

Rejected. My only weak point was my ACT of 31, but I thought I could’ve at least made the wait list. Can’t wait for everyone to ask me what I found out…

Got my acceptance in the mail today! So excited for my first fat letter.
My stats: 33 ACT, 4.0 GPA, excellent recs and ECs, poor white boy but not catholic or very religious.

Sorry, CC glitched and sent my reply twice, and I live in Southeastern OH just to let you know the time frame.

Yikes. DD is out so we can’t know for sure until she opens it, but she got a small envelope. TBH, I’m surprised. 35 on the ACT, great letters and EC’s, Hispanic female.

My DD was accepted!!

My son was accepted! We are so excited. He was waitlisted at WashU and rejected at Northwestern, so we were very nervous about Notre Dame.

Did anyone receive financial aid information? Any idea when that will come?

I have heard that FA awards will be sent next week.

Congrats to all that were accepted!! I know it’s been a long journey coming! Now you can call yourself a fighting Irish! To those who were rejected, I’m so sorry and I know you will be fine no matter where you decide to go, it’s Notre Dame’s loss, not yours.

It’ll be my turn this time next year, so nervous yet excited ^_^
