I just called Wesleyan, and they said the decision should arrive by tomorrow. If that's not the case, they told me to call in to find out the decision over the phone.

Congrats to you and your son, Skie. It gives me a bit of hope since I was also waitlisted at Oberlin.

Still nothing in CT. What could possibly cause it to take three days to arive in state! To make it worse, I know a friend who recieved the letter Sat. a few towns over.
I also called Admissions, and they said that the letter should come, but that they can't release a decision over the phone until Thursday.

^ I'm sorry, admanrich. But Colgate is an amazing school, so best of luck :)

NOTHING in eastern MA ... my friend called in and they said they'd release decisions over the phone on Thursday if you still haven't received your letter.

i got a big envelope today! i am ecstatic- didn't expect an acceptance- but i am still thinking i'll go to northwestern over wesleyan. will try to make it to wes fest today though :) congrats to everyone and commiserations to those that weren't accepted. don't worry if you haven't gotten anything; its just hte stupid crazy mail!

I registered today just so I could post this for all of you still waiting.

The reason you haven't heard on rejections yet is likely because, yes, the letters were mailed on Friday, but Wesleyan only used 29.3 cents of postage on the rejection letters.

I don't know about the rest of you, but considering the price of application fees, I find it despicable that people are kept hanging over 10 cents worth of postage.

I did go back and check and every other piece of mail we've received from any other college showed at least the full 39 cent first class postage.

^ i still haven't heard anything and that post kinda makes me realize that i'm mOST likely rejected hahahh. :( but thanks for telling us so we don't die from waiting...
