well, its about 15 days until those who applied RD begin to be notified of their acceptance or rejection (hopefully no one on here is rejected …) so i just wanna wish all you good luck and i hope you all can get the big envelope in the mail! (yes, if you are accepted, you will get a big envelope, if your not…well itll be small). Good luck!

Thank you. I thought I wasn’t going to hear till April 1. I’m excited and nervous at the same time.

Good luck guys! Hopefully I see all of you next year!!!

Uh…BC’s website says they won’t notify anyone of regular decisions until April 15.

True… This is from the BC website

Candidates will be notified of action taken on their applications no later than April 15. Decisions will not be communicated to applicants via telephone, facsimile, e-mail, or in person prior to April 15.

fyi – BC mails letters daily over the course of a week or so…

when you log into agora and click applicant status it states you could hear back anywhere from march 15th-april 5th. im guessing online decisions will be posted and then mail afterwards? i’m not sure, maybe someone who was admitted could elaborate.

You are “guessing” incorrectly. BC sends decisions by snail mail only.

Yes, they only send letters by mail. But for early action, the day they began mailing letters, a tab came up on the Agora portal for accepted students only where they could pay their enrollment deposit.

i was admitted EA so heres how i found out about my admissions earlier this year. They mailed them out on December 16th, and i got my packet in the mail on the 18th. i live a couple towns away from BC so i got mine relatively quickly, but id assume that anyone around the country would get their decision within 5 business days max. as for the decisions coming out beginning april 15th; that is totally false because that would give each student very little time to consider their choices, and BC would be highly criticized for that, especially with the amount of applicants they receive. I did not say that ppl would hear about their decisions ON march 15th, i said (or meant) that they would begin to be mailed on the 15th, meaning that people would begin to learn of their decisions soon afterward. as for the “tabs” thing on the agora portal…i dont think anyone should use that as a method of figuring out whether you were accepted or denied because it isnt really official, and nobody wants to know if they got into the potential school of their dreams via a website…one of the best moments of my life was seeing the big envelope on the counter after coming home from school!!!

um i wish schools would just mail them all out at one time

and i really wish they would just tell us definite decision dates…

and i wish bc would learn how to post decisions online…

and i wish they would make decisions faster.

then keep on wishing.

actually BC posts their decisions online. When you log onto agora after the notification deadline it will either give you an option to put your deposit down or notify you that you were not accepted. I know this because last year I was in Madrid at notification time and was able to log onto agora to see that I had been accepted.

Interesting. Your theory makes sense.

Just got an acceptance package (large envelope) in the mail this afternoon. It was postmarked yesterday March 23.

Did you have tabs?

what state are you in?
