Instead of having to peruse 14 pages of conversation, what time tomorrow will the notification occur?

Check your email…they are uploading some decisions at 6pm and some at 7pm.

hoyl crap… less than 20 hours for decisions…eek.

Eeek indeed.

indeed eek.

Almost…

I’m brimming with excitement!

I’m brimming with 1/2mv^2.

haha nice…

UPDATE: It’s officially 3/25 EST!!!

18 hours!

Well, it’s true.

If you’re URM, the best college you get into would likely have rejected you were you not URM.

If you get into Duke through academics, hard work, dedication, and brilliance, I give you respect your character.

If you get into Duke because you’re an above average student and you’re URM/legacy, why should I respect your heritage? I don’t respect you nearly as much as I respect the aforementioned student.

i am willing to bet that the average scores for all of the URMs that received letters early are on par with the rest of the admitted students. for colleges and universities to do otherwise would be to shoot themselves in the foot.

good luck to everyone! i can’t wait to find out, but i will be at a lacrosse game right when decisions come out!

I like it how the Duke website is already slow!!!

yea its sooooo sooo slow

ehh…its slow for you all too?

yup (10 char)

no school tomorrow = long day.

I envy you wolfpack12…tomorrow’s my first day of school after spring break :(

just sleep all day, itll go by faster and you’ll feel better

Lucky people…I’ve got school.

We don’t have Spring Break 'till the second week of April =/

Guys, if you want to have a debate about affirmative action and its applications and implications in modern society, please do it on another thread. I trust you can hold some kind of organized debate on the issue over the internet. This just isn’t the place.

Even though the comments that have been posted here have been a little edgy and personal, let’s just give everyone the benefit of the doubt and chill out until tonight. I was in the same boat as you guys in December–I know how nerve-wracking it can be. What helped me out was making a chat room on AIM the afternoon before ED decisions came out just for Duke applicants. A great way to help relieve some anxiety is to share it with people going through the same thing.

Don’t worry so much. Whatever happens, you’ve got a great future ahead of you…whether it be at Duke or somewhere else. Best of luck everyone!
